Day 1 of the Parish Popular Mission

Yesterday saw a successful first day to the Popular Mission, with the day started with our Blessed Lord in exposition, morning prayer and Mass.  The missionaries spent the morning getting to know the staff and pupils of St Joseph’s Primary School, through singing (and dancing!) and visits to the classrooms. The afternoon saw the Missionaries in St Mungo’s High School talking with groups of 2nd & 3rd year pupils and getting plenty of looks from those who are unaccustomed to seeing priests and nuns dressed as……priests and nuns!10482498_10203705940643360_8256643381900449457_n

The first of the Mission talks was held at 7pm, with parishioners from neighbouring parishes joining us – you are all very welcome.  The theme was that of saving our souls and how Christ is our only Saviour.  after the Mission talk, we gathered in the hall for a wee sing song (and Sr Koluse got us all up dancing again!!)- a very enjoyable, but tiring first day, when the Lord gave us many blessings.10624675_10203705940723362_6987679692843211600_n10563020_10203705940603359_1830870382969288842_n10609639_10203705940683361_8016496315901406408_n
